The Vision 2020 Culture, Arts and Leisure Committee is busy planning the Fifth Annual Artisan Fair. After four successful years, the committee is thankful for all of the support it has received from the community and excited about the enthusiasm the fair brings each year.
Over the past few years, the Artisan Fair has expanded its activities, which last year included a community event on Friday night, an art auction, wine tasting, and a food fair. This year with the support of the community, the committee hopes to expand its efforts to include more activities for families and children with a Kids Corner!
Because of the many talented artists, energetic volunteers and generous sponsors, the committee believes the 2010 Artisan Fair will be another successful event. But in order for the committee to continue its efforts and to promote this event, financial support is needed. Sponsorship enables the committee to present this fair free of charge to the public, which encourages everyone in the community to attend the family-friendly weekend of art, history and music in Effingham’s beautiful downtown area on the square.
